Princess Andriana Resort & Spa is a 5 stars luxury hotel located in Kiotari, the beautiful southern part of Rhodes Island. The challenge of the design was to integrate the buildings into a sloping landscape. The project site has an area of 110.000 m2 and is terraced with elevations changes as much as 1.9m between the pool area and the first floor of the hotel.
The client’s requests were to give privacy to the first floor rooms and create a transition zone between the building and the pool area while maximizing the area around the pool to be used for sun beds.
The aim of the plant design was to create a cooler microclimate for the warm summer nights.
